Though this problem is not directly related to FXB products it affects e-mail support integrated into FXBMT4 Utility

How to install WinMail

  • Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Mail folder and run WinMail.exe file
  • If it runs normally, configure WinMail (add accounts, etc)

  • If it doesn't run, rename Windows Mail to Windows Mail.old
  • Copy a whole Windows Mail from your old Vista installation into C:\Program Files\Windows Mail
  • If you ran an older OS like XP or 2K3 that use Outlook Express, search WinMail files by Google
  • Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Mail folder and run WinMail.exe file
  • Configure WinMail (add accounts, etc)

How to make WinMail a default mail program
  • Run WinMail
  • Go to Options/General and click Make Default button against ...default mail handler in Default Messaging Programs group
  • Restart WinMail
Go to the top of the page
