How to load EA settings from external *.set file

There are two default locations for MT4 *.set files: \TESTER and EXPERTS\PRESETS. Most likely you will get that files as a result of your optimization. You may load the tester set-files into EA as described below.

• Click EA properties (smiling face in a right top chart corner)
• Click Load button
• Navigate two levels up (green up arrow in Open dialog)
• Enter \TESTER folder
• Point to necessary set-file
• Click OK button in EA settings. All inputs that apply to EA will be loaded and those from tester are ignored.

Check all the settings and save those as a new *.set file into EXPERTS\PRESETS folder that is a default location for EA set-files.
